My inspiration for this piece was a distressed short of robot in a wasteland. I went with this theme due to how the method used here tends to make a very textural print and I wanted to take advantage of that. I tried to use as many of the materials at my disposal for more diversity in texture. I also used a dark green instead of a black so it would have some much needed contrast with the warmer yellows and oranges. If I could change one thing with this image I would have washed the entire plate in one base color to cut back on the white spots.
