This image was an attempt at getting a shot of canyons in an environment without canyons, the balance comes from the asymmetrical symmetry of the rocks on the sides.
This image was taken as a contrast between the industrial manhole cover and the natural dandelions.
This image was taken on inspiration when I saw a tree with some dead branches among the live ones, the colors of life and death all in one spot of this humble tree had me by the hands as I snapped this photo.
The concept of space is a hard one to grasp, but what better subject then a stairway leading seemingly into the open sky and perhaps further.
I'm actually really proud of this shot, it shows the sharp geometric lines of human creation in their natural suburban environment.
These were some of the first actual flowers I saw this spring and they gave the sense of unity by being many blooming bushes rather then just one.
The cold stone boy sits reading eternally what better way to capture this figure then a photograph.
The metal pillars that seemingly touch the sky. They show off a beautifully geometric shape in contrast to organic world around them.
These benches brought images of places like Stonehenge or an ancient outdoor classroom to mind, they are placed in very regulated distances apart.
With the winding blue stream being a smooth contrast to the rough grass I saturated it to be a rich royal blue for this shot.
The roughness and sharpness of this stick bush had me taken.
Originally this image was more of a focus on the balloon ensnared by the branches of this tree but then I started looking at the tree itself and saw it's intricacies, how it could be only one color yet it was so much more diverse.
Overall I'd say the theme of this set is me pushing color into things, even the black and white Value image has slight color added to intensify the grays. My overall favorite of this set is Line due to the color scheme I made out of it as it looks like a blend of reality and the vibrant world of fiction. My least favorite of these is Figure due to that shadow on the book being so distracting.
