To enhance the lighting and shadows of my pictures I took them in the dark using a desk lamp (visible in picture 1) to create a strong and very contrasted light. Most of my image edits involved upping the contrast (visible in picture 8) and adding dark vignettes (visible in picture 9). I feel the black and white in the editing really made the colors much more cohesive as apposed to the rainbow of hues they were before. Out of all these my favorite is 5 because I like how the pose on my art manikin turned out and the wood texture in the background. My least favorite is 6 because it lacks the contrast of much of the others to keep it symmetrical. Together as a series I feel these photos work well together due to the similar lighting in most of them.
